April 2025 Monthly Horoscope Predictions
As the month of April begins the jokes might be a little too intense as Mars, Uranus and Saturn all work together to create some positive changes. For the first time in our lifetimes we now have Neptune in the sign of Aries. The collective shifts have begun to pick up. This month will see the end of Mercury and Venus retrogrades. If you have been feeling a little stuck, don't despair, things like love and communication, are about to move ahead. The Full Moon in Libra, ruled by Venus will bring the love lessons to an end. Then we can all start new and fresh with the New Moon in Taurus on the 27th. Let's break it down for the entire month.

April 1st - don't let yourself be fooled on this April Fool's Day! Uranus, the Moon, Saturn, and Mars have some big surprises in store for us, so remain flexible with sudden changes in direction. Venus is speaking with the North Node and Mercury in Pisces. Love messages that come in are fated, and possibly from someone in your past. Wow! Now that really is surprising if it's that certain someone!
April 2nd - Mercury continues to move retrograde along with Venus. It becomes exact with the North Node in Pisces today at 27 degrees. Those surprise conversations on April Fool's day are no joke. But this is fate, and this is a lesson. Make sure you understand what the work really is. Hint: it involves having healthy boundaries. And opposing the South Node in Virgo it's definitely because of someone from your past.
April 3rd - that Mars, Uranus and Saturn connection is exactly joined at 24 degrees of Pisces, Taurus and Cancer. This is a helpful energy that provides us with the plan that moves us forward in surprising ways, emotionally and spiritually. Saturn trine to Mars has you moving at just the right pace. Their sextile to Uranus is what will get the big momentum going. This energy along with Mercury speaking to the North Node stays with us for several days. Take advantage of clearing something up from the past so you can finally move on.
April 5th - Venus in retrograde, meets up again with Saturn, but this time they are further along in their storyline. They first met up back on January 19th. This is part two of the story you have been working on since then. Saturn has the rules, the instructions for whatever you are reviewing now, that you started at the first of the year. Be sure and listen. They will meet one last time as Venus ends her retrograde on April 12th and begins to move forward. There will be a major final exam! Make sure you are prepared. I can't say this one enough, healthy boundaries are a must! This could be a very emotional day as the Moon joins in with Mars in its home sign of Cancer to speak with Saturn, Venus and Uranus. It could also be a blessed day as the Sun in Aries speaks in harmony with Jupiter in Gemini. You may receive good news today, or be blessed to share a message of hope with others.
April 7th - Mercury retrograde ends as the planet stations to go direct. Mars in Cancer at 25 degrees is now speaking in harmony with the Pisces stellium of planets, Venus, Mercury no longer in retrograde, Saturn and the North Node, while also still speaking in harmony with Uranus. We are feeling strongly motivated by our emotions, by our intuition. But it isn't an erratic response, Saturn is the glue that keeps all of this watery energy contained. Mercury will slowly start to move forward again, and as it does you can start applying all you learned these last 3 weeks whatever topic(s) were being exposed to you. These are fated times as Mercury also stays connected to the Nodes of fate, karma and destiny. Your path forward should really start to open up now, albeit slowly.
April 8th - as Mars moves forward it continues to do so in harmony with Mercury. Mars does not love the energy in the sign of Cancer, but it is much happier since it is at least moving forward, and quickly. Emotionally you are feeling more energized, your mind is hitting on all cylinders. This could be a time where your creativity is skyrocketing. You might be creating content like you are on steroids. Take advantage of this uplifting energy, be sure to use it for good.
April 10th - The South Node in Virgo is going to be spending a lot of time alone during the first half of the year, except for once a month when the Moon comes by for a visit. When it visits today the two are opposing Mercury and the North Node in Pisces. There are some outdated emotional blocks that it is time to release. There are things you can no longer try to keep controlling and now you clearly understand what to do and how to let this go. Of course Uranus and Mars are still connected and working to set you free as well. Whatever is going on right now it is quite a spectacle for all to see.
April 11th - once a year the Sun and Chiron, wounded healer, trainer to the Gods, meet up. In the sign of Aries, which rules the self, you may feel empowered to heal yourself or others. The Sun shines a light on those who are healers. At the 22 degree mark of Aries, a master builder Angel number, there could be a foundation built for the future, one that creates a lot of healing. This is also a day where the Sun shines a light on our pain and suffering. The key is choosing to heal, making the necessary sacrifice so you can heal.
April 12th - the Full Moon in Libra occurs just as Venus, its ruler, is slowing down to end her retrograde that started back on March 1st at 10 degrees of Aries. While at 24 degrees of Pisces she still is closely aligned with Saturn, the North Node and Mercury. This has been a very long review period. It may be reminiscent of 2017, the last time Venus followed a similar retrograde path. Whatever house you have this Full Moon energy in is closely related to the Venus lessons you have been learning. This is where you will see the outcome of those learnings show up. All of your planets in the later degrees of each sign are being activated in some way by Venus as well. April 15th - its tax day! Don't forget to file yours if you haven't already. The Sun in Aries has moved on from Chiron and has a brief moment with the South Node and the Moon in Scorpio, there is a brief YOD, or mission from God forming. Something about a man, a secret, could be revealed. Something about his past in particular. It could actually be someone's particular fate to reveal said secret. Mercury is sitting at 29 degrees of Pisces helping to get this critical information out there to the world. And we still have all this emotional energy going on with Mars in Cancer fueling all the planets in Pisces and the Moon in Scorpio. It may also be fueling your intuition, be sure you have faith now and trust whatever it tells you to do.
April 16th - Mercury is the messenger to the Gods, and it converses with Neptune in the sign of Aries. This is the first activity that happens with Neptune, who has not been in this sign since the civil war in the late 1700's. Pay attention to the conversations, given by leaders, warriors in particular. This is the energy of the independent thinker. It is matched up with the energy of the dissolver. Will the fire energy clear your mind completely of whatever you have been trying to delude yourself about? The 0 in the Tarot is the beginning of the Fool's' journey. You have to take a leap of faith and start something brand new today. With Mars at that critical 29 degrees of Cancer the emotions may be running high, use them in a positive way.
April 17th - by the evening Mars will be out of Cancer, FINALLY! Mars is much happier in the sign of Leo, a fellow fire energy. However, as Mars enters Cancer it will spend several days in a battle with Leo in Aquarius. What the leader wants vs what the people want is at a major standstill. The energy starts as Mars enters Leo, revisiting the conversation that occurred while Mars was retrograde on December 31st. However, the first face off was November 2nd while Mars was at 29 degrees of Cancer, and Pluto at 29 of Capricorn. What battles were you waging during this time? This energy will be fueling Mercury and Neptune in Aries as well, in a positive way. There are a lot of energetic connections today, expect major turbulence.
April 19th - As Venus picks up speed she meets up again with Uranus in her home sign of Taurus as she is shoulder to shoulder with Saturn and the North Node in Pisces. There are fated events involving women, money and a whole lot of karma now. It's likely to shock you. Not the best time to start any kind of financial endeavor. While the connection is positive, that Uranus energy is not the most stable. But if you are into that kind of thing go for it. The Sun also enters into Venus's home sign of Taurus today, shining a huge spotlight on whatever the events of this day turn out to be. Many of them may have to do with the financial markets.
April 20th - time to pull out the fire extinguisher as things really begin to heat up. The Sun in Taurus is now part of a t-square with Mars in Leo at 1 degree and the Moon and Pluto at 3 degrees of Aquarius. Financial markets could be a bit dicey today. Whatever these conflicting values are they are causing things to heat up in a hurry. Large groups may gather and protest. Saturn is joined with the North Node and opposing the South now. All that goes on during this time is karmic. Time may feel as if it has slowed down. Saturn is the peacemaker amongst all the chaos, but his rules must be followed.
April 22nd - Venus is following in Saturn's footsteps and now sits next to the North Node in Venus while opposing the South. Is it a woman, or is it money that is fated to resolve whatever this issue involving health and boundaries is? Things are getting extremely volatile as the Sun squares to Pluto exactly. Has a power couple decided to break up over money? A partnership that started in January may be coming apart at the seams now. Leaders are at war with one another, fighting for the support of some group, but it isn't going well.
April 23rd - this is the outcome from whatever was started when Venus and Saturn first joined hands around January 19th like the Sun and Pluto did. But now the Sun and Pluto are at odds, while Saturn and Venus work together to bring order. The Moon joins in on the conversations along with the Nodes of course. And still there's Uranus adding fuel to the fated work.
April 25th - the Sun is moving on from the conflict, but Mars and Pluto are not. This is the peak of the battle. Mars in Leo is a fighter, and Pluto in Aquarius is a leader with powerful connections, technology may be this leaders strength. This is almost the end of Mars retrograde journey. It began at 6 degrees of Leo last year. This is the final outcome from all that emotional journey. Even Mercury is now at the end of it's post shadow, and activating the March eclipse energy. It is time to be clear about what you want and speak up. It is time to remove blocks to the truth.
April 27th - out of all the conflict comes the opportunity for a new beginning. The Sun and Moon will meet up in the sign of Taurus, a sign that rules finances, love and valuables. These two meet at 7 degrees, a number that asks you to go within to connect with what it is you really want out of this new beginning. Of course this has everything to do with the recent conflict, and Venus, as the ruler yet again of the 2nd lunar event this month. I guess you might say Venus owns the entire month of April. Uranus in Taurus is too far away to be directly involved, however it is now speaking in harmony with the Nodes of fate, expect the unexpected.
April 29th - Venus hits the critical 29 degree mark on her way back to Aries territory. So 29 degrees on the 29th day of the month. Could signal a crisis of some kind, or at least something crucial you need to resolve.
April 30th - as the tumultuous month comes to a close, Venus moves back into the sign of Aries and meets up with Neptune in Aries. This is their first meeting here, its a fresh start for all Venus topics, love, money, beauty, and art. Neptune and Venus enjoy indulging in the finer things. You might decide to step up your beauty regimen today. Maybe the world can step up and beautify it self as well.
May preview - as the month begins Venus will still be post shadow, moving forward over the territory she has already covered twice. Uranus is engaged in a long slow discussion with the North and South Node. Mars and Pluto are beginning to move away from their conflict, but there still might be some strong undercurrents of distrust. In fact, Pluto is going to sit and stew for some time as it goes retrograde at the degree of the altercation on May 4th, yep you can't even make this stuff up anymore. May the 4th be with you might just take on a whole new meaning about revolution and the battle of good versus evil. We will see Saturn moves into the sign of Aries, which last occurred in 1996 when then President Bill Clinton was being impeached. Will history repeat itself? We will of course have our Lunar events as well, the Full Moon in dramatic Scorpio happens on May 12th and the New Moon in Gemini occurs on May 26th, Memorial day might really give us something new to celebrate.
