🗓️ Daily Astrology Breakdown — July 2026

July 1–3

Mounting pressure is building as Jupiter and Chiron form a square at 0 degrees of Leo and Taurus, while the Nodes also sitting at 0 degree, speak in harmony with Chiron. There is a reset happening, and it will make some in leadership roles uncomfortable. Jupiter moving into Leo invites us to be bold but, before we can get to that, there is some work from Jupiter's last retrograde that needs further exploration.  Mercury will be digging into the details during its retrograde that started on June 29th, along with the full moon in Capricorn.  Jupiter gave us the bigger picture during its transit through Cancer, now Mercury gives us the facts.  It's no coincidence that Jupiter left and Mercury is immediately going retrograde. The house where Jupiter just spent the last year in your chart has some last details to clean up before we are fully ready to move forward.  Mercury is following almost the exact same path. There may be some emotional baggage we are finally ready to pack up and move out. You have until July 23rd to identify the details and get ready to move, for some quite literally.

July 4–6

Happy 250th Birthday America. Or is it? Something hidden is making itself known today as we see Pluto in Aquarius, retrograde, trine to Mars and Uranus in Gemini, and both sextile to Neptune in Aries. Some illusion is about to be blown up, maybe quite literally. Some painful truths may be exposed. This is the type of energy that shakes things up and brings the beginning of a collective shift toward truth. With the Moon in Pisces it's bound to be an emotional few days. With the Sun in Cancer squaring with Saturn in Aries, egos conflicts are on display. Do yourself a favor and stay away from the drama, and keep your celebrations small and controlled.

July 7–9

Emotions are our messengers. Neptune stations to go retrograde on the 7th. Initially this slow down can create a lot of fog. But as it settles in, we are ready to reassess our dreams and how we are pursuing them. The Moon over the next several days is having important conversations with all the planets in process of changing signs or direction. It will also speak in harmony with the Nodes of fate and destiny. Trust your intuition now. Regardless of what you are being told or were told, now something very different is unfolding. Venus in Leo may show a leader desperate to hold onto power, but as the planet of money, love and beauty moves into Virgo the lion is about to be tamed.

July 10–11

Inner tension builds between what you want and what is realistic. Venus meets with the Nodes as she first enters Virgo. There is something from the past that you still desire, yet repeating the past just holds you back. Or so says the North Node in Pisces. Learning from the past, and making better choices with our desires is the best way forward now. Venus and Chiron are combining their powers to help us heal something that happened in the past. Something could be shared that can heal the Earth.

July 12

For some there is a mission from God, also called a YOD. If you have personal planets at 4 degrees of Virgo then you may feel called to make a change. A YOD is formed by 1 planet that is inconjunct to 2 others planets, that are sextile one another. It's a finger, or for some a witches hat that is formed. The work is through Venus in Virgo. It is making sure your desires are pure. If not, then a great change is upon you. Neptune and Pluto both at 4 degrees and retrograde, is the energy helping you on your mission. Since they are outer planets the help comes from within, comes from the collective's influence. Something is happening that makes us questions whether it was really worth it or not.

Jul 13

Emotional breakthroughs. Mercury in retrograde meets with the Sun in Cancer, for what we astrologer's call Mercury Cazimi Retrograde. The Sun's power cleanses Mercury's energy and it is reborn. There is something about the past of our families, our ancestors that we did not understand. A great truth is exposed that may literally blow your mind. This could be a day that is emotionally cleansing for some, emotionally upsetting for others. Great epiphanies can be had if you have planets sitting at 20 degrees of Cancer, or Capricorn especially. Mercury still has more area to cover in it's retrograde, so this is only the beginning, not the end.

July 14

The New Moon in Cancer takes what you learned and helps you start again. Cancer rules over home, family, our ancestors, our emotional support. The Moon ruler of the sign is of course at home for this new beginning. The Moon asks us what we need to feel safe and secure. Something you equate to the love given to a child by its mother or caregiver, is the answer. Whatever we learned from the Mercury Cazimi it is inviting us to start something new. July 16–17

Authority figures feel pressured by their 'people'. As Jupiter advances through the sign of Leo it faces off against Pluto in Aquarius, we the people. Pluto is supported by Neptune and Uranus still, in their minor triangle formation. The people are speaking up and speaking out against an authority figure. One who thinks they are on some righteous crusade. One of the things Jupiter is good at is pointing out false kings in the sign of Leo. Jupiter is a benefic planet it wants what is best for all, what fits into the bigger picture. It's energy when used correctly will help leaders meet in the middle and help lift their people up. Others will create great conflict. In your life this is an excellent time to put yourself in a time out if you feel pulled into conflict by your ego.

July 18

A new healing journey begins. Chiron enters the sign of Taurus for the first time in 50 years! That means it was the mid 70's when we last experienced the energy in this sign. It was only recognized in 1977 as even existing. This is just a brief preview of the work. We have until September 17th to experience how our lives will be impacted by this planet's transition here. Then it goes back into the sign of Aries, where our personal healing journey concludes. The planet (officially an asteroid/comet) will be in Taurus until 2037, besides its retrograde back into Aries later this year. Taurus rules the earth, money, worthiness, emotional and food security. We will likely see lessons involving our attachment to material things, the environment, money and farming. Many more details are covered in the full article posting soon.

July 19

Out of all the conflict an opportunity arises. The Moon in Libra is working hard on restoring balance in the world. Information is coming forward now that can be used to end the conflict. An envelope formation (4 planets in opposition, and the same 4 working in harmony) means information is available that we can use to resolve conflicts. There is also a brief kite formation formed by the Moon in Libra as it opposes Neptune in Aries, of course still sextile to Pluto and Uranus. There also is a grand air trine formed by the Moon with Pluto and Uranus in Gemini. Make sure you notate anything you learn today that feels important, that causes a stir within you, even if you don't quite understand why. An opportunity that is presented to you now, an offer, can pay off in unexpected ways. Don't let this day slip by without tuning in to your inner voice. Thank goodness this is a Sunday, we need to really slow down and absorb all that is happening around us.

July 20–21

Support for change is all around us. We have two minor triangles that remain as Jupiter in Leo speaks in harmony with Uranus and Neptune, just as Pluto does. They both offer a different way of supporting us. One is through faith, one is through fear, but both a valuable resource. The purpose of fear is for us to realize only we make it real. The purpose of faith is to give us something to conquer our fears. This is the lesson that is continuing to unfold for us now. Do you believe? Will faith win out in the end? There will come a moment when we have to decide to stay on the current path, or break free.

July 22

The birth of a new King. The Sun leaves the sign of Cancer and enters into its home sign of Leo. The Sun shines a light on what our ego wants and desires. Leo represents the leader, the personality that thrives on stage. It is a sign that represents children and joy, it rules our heart. What does your heart desire? How will you step up to lead and do the right thing? That is what Jupiter asks of any new leader 'born' at this time.

July 23-24

Emotional clarity returns, but decisions remain on hold. It could be a few days before you understand all that has happened in the last few weeks as Mercury walked back through the sign of Cancer. As a planet stations, especially a personal planet like Mercury, it's energy is intensified. This is the moment we begin to feel the momentum begin to shift, but we aren't there quite yet. Allow yourself the next several days to acclimate to moving forward again. You will find the right words to say if you slow down before you speak about what you have been through.

July 26

Saturn Retrograde begins — responsibility and structure come into focus. Anything that you have tried to build on a weak foundation will be torn down to the ground and you will have to start again. Saturn began here in February with Neptune by its side, helping us decide to put our dreams into motion. For those who went too fast, there is a sort of reckoning. This time you need to follow the rules in order to succeed long-term. The rebuilding effort goes through December 10th. As the retrograde begins the Moon is in Saturn's home sign of Capricorn, forming another YOD, this time with the Sun, Jupiter in Leo and Uranus in Gemini. There is a fated restructuring of governing bodies.

July 26–28

Nodes shift signs — a powerful energetic reset begins a few hours after Saturn turns retrograde. This is not a subtle shift. Leo is drama, and that is where the South Node is intent on teaching us the lessons from the past. Drama for the sake of drama, for the sake of creating a 'show' will not work now. It's not about what you can do or say on stage, it's about what you can do in real life for others. The North Node in Aquarius, the sign of the water bearer, the sign of serving the people, is where we are meant to grow now. The Sun and Jupiter are conjunct, creating a Jupiter cazimi moment that could put a new leader in the spotlight. The 29 degree is an anaretic or crisis degree, and since the Nodes are moving retrograde until March of 2028 we need to pay close attention to their entry into their new signs. These are fated lessons for the collective and those lessons also affect our personal lives. The last time we had this shift was in 2007, December 18th. Do you recall the lessons of those years? July 29

Powerful full moon in Aquarius. The Moon in Aquarius sits next to Pluto in Aquarius as both oppose the Sun and Jupiter in the sign of Cancer. Jupiter and Pluto have been in this conflict since the beginning of the month. Now the Sun and Moon join in to show us why this must come to an end. Venus and Mars are in conflict during the full moon as well. The tension created now will help you end something you are afraid of. Uranus ruler of the full moon is in Gemini and still speaking in harmony with Pluto. There are likely to be some surprise endings in store, surprise announcements.
