December Monthly Horoscope: Closure

This year has moved incredibly fast, and yet still felt extremely heavy and slow at times. The 9 year has delivered as expected, many dramatic endings. And now comes the final chapter. This is the last month of the year. The final wrap up. Of course things will still linger into the first part of next year, but those things meant to be completed will be, now. Then we will open a pathway for new experiences as the 1 year begins in 2026. In comparison the last 9 year we had was 2016. Interesting repeating pattern there, and the work was escalated that was not completed back then. Now it's time to consider 2017 in comparison to our upcoming 2026 year.

But before we get too far ahead of ourselves, let's do a complete breakdown of the month ahead. We have only one planet that will end its retrograde and that is Neptune in the sign of Pisces, done with the review of the last 14 years, ready to tidy its house up and move out for the next 200+ years. It moves forward from 29 degrees of Pisces where it has been and will continue to sit for some time. This is a test of faith, and a time for dissolving what no longer serves us. Mercury will spend half the month in post shadow, meaning now we see clearly what the retrograde in November was all about, and it's time to take action.

Our full moon this month occurs in the sign of Gemini at 13 degrees, and the new moon is in Sagittarius at 19 degrees. December 1st - here we go, our last Rabbit Rabbit for good luck this year. As the month begins we see Venus in the sign of Sagittarius. She is getting ready for a big transition as she will stay in the shadow of the Sun, out of sight until the beginning of next year. When the planet changes from night star to day star our experience with Venus changes as well. As we begin the new year Venus becomes the light bringer. For now she is speaking in harmony with Pluto in Aquarius, both are helping us move forward, based on something hidden and unseen. There is likely groups like NATO uniting for a special cause.

December 2nd - there has been a long term issue occurring with the collective as a result of this square between Jupiter and Chiron. This is a conflict from the past that is being brought up again, or picking up steam again, as it has never been resolved. Both planets being in retrograde make us focus inward on our healing journey. The same is true for the collective. Will someone step up and help the collective heal? Be willing to make a tremendous sacrifice for the sake of all? That is what Chiron did after all. This is going on all month because healing the poison from within, takes a lot of time.

December 4th - This is the last full moon of the year and it is a doozy, of course! The Nodes with the Sun and Moon are creating a mutable grand cross. All the back and forth is about to stop. A full moon in Gemini means some type of conversation or information is done. Mercury, is the ruler of the full moon and is in the sign of Scorpio. As it moves forward it is sharing the secrets it uncovered during its retrograde. Some of that information is coming out today about someone in a position of authority who is not well. It could be a shocking announcement of some kind. Don't try to push any content out today as it will not be well received and could be full of mistakes. December 5th - when the Sun in Sagittarius meets up in a tsquare or what I like to call a mountain of pressure, with the nodes of fate and destiny, a big change is in the air. That big dramatic ending from the full moon is now changing someone's public career in a notable way. In your own life your success, your growth, happens because an unexpected challenge to your ego self. Take the hit and move on. Trying to fight this fated change will just be a huge waste of energy.

December 6th - The grand water trine from last month is activated again, this time by the planet Mercury who just made a big splash during that full moon. This is the time where you take what you learned and do something with, or about it. Mercury in Scorpio is joined by Saturn in Pisces, moving forward and still post shadow, and Jupiter in Cancer, just recently turned retrograde. The past and the future are colliding now. A grand trine in water is an emotional opportunity. Trust your intuition and don't wait to do something with what you learn.

December 7th - the actions you try to take now may not turn out as expected with Jupiter making an inconjunct connection to Mars in Sagittarius. You want to take off, but Jupiter says slow down and take a closer look at the bigger picture. There is something you are missing. As the Moon joins into the conversation from Jupiter's perspective, it's your gut instincts you cannot ignore now. Plus its the remembrance day of Pearl Harbor, so unless you want a surprise attack, trust your intuition to be your guide.

December 8th - some of you didn't listen and now we have a fight on our hands. Saturn is now squaring off with Mars, which means an old timer is putting the brakes on some young hot head in the world. If you are being advised to slow down, I second that warning. If you push now the conflict will escalate and you won't like how this ends. Saturn in Pisces has control, follow the plan you are being given.

December 10th - the foggy thinking and deceitfulness is finally about to break as Neptune in Pisces begins to move forward. This is it the final test that began in your life back in 2011. There is one house, one topic in your life that has perhaps put you through the ringer at times. It is time to finish up the work there, establish those boundaries for good, and learn to stay faithful. Neptune and Mercury speak in harmony today helping you fully understand the lessons you needed to learn. Since the planet is at at 29 degrees for several months, this is going to feel a bit like the bar exam. Don't shoot the messenger! Just finish the work. Venus in Sagittarius also squares off with the North and South Node, it is a sign of what is about to change, what is about to be exposed to the light. The house where you have Venus and the Sun in Sagittarius is about to enlighten you in a fated way that can change your current path.

December 11th - the energy today is awkward and a bit dangerous, so be careful. Mars in Sagittarius is making an uncomfortable connection back to Uranus in Taurus. This can be shaky ground or major storms. Mars is also now squaring Neptune in Pisces. Foreign policy and conflicts will escalate in order for a resolution to finally be reached. You may personally feel very uncomfortable, so it's ok to take a time out and avoid any and all confrontations. They will not end well. This will grow in intensity for several days so just be aware and prepared for some chaos. Maybe even some financial chaos. It might be hard to get the facts straight as Mercury heads into the sign of Sagittarius where it is at fall. So slow down, review all the details carefully before you make any financial decisions in particular.

December 13th - if you have been feeling attacked or under the weather now the Sun is joining with Chiron to mend you, or shine a light on a conflict that is simply causing us too much pain and suffering. It is time for a leader to step up and help the collective heal. As Mars and Neptune are still waging their war on the sea, there might be some collateral damage. Make sure you finish your holiday shopping very early. Pluto in Aquarius is teaming up with Mercury in Sagittarius to give a voice to the people. A united voice is speaking up against this conflict.

December 14th - today as the conflict continues to rage we are given a sign of hope. The Moon in Libra, the sign of Justice is at the apex of the YOD. This is a personal quest or mission for the collective and ourselves if we have planets near 28 degrees of Libra. The Moon is having trouble connecting with Uranus in Taurus and Neptune in Pisces. But those two are and have been, working in harmony all year. Let your faith guide you and break free from financial situations or relationships that no longer serve you. This mission is to make things fair to all involved. The Sun is also at an odd angle with Jupiter. So this is a very strange energy day where you should expect the unexpected.

December 16th - it was during the Solar Eclipse in September that we saw Saturn and the Sun in Opposition. Now they form a square, and the fight continues. If you didn't find a way to compromise on the issue you had during the eclipse then now is the time where things must change. This is a major conflict for the collective, and for those with planets around 25 degrees of Sagittarius and Pisces. This is an issue of faith and beliefs, the two are at odds, and continuing to challenge the narrative.

December 18th - as Jupiter in Cancer is exactly square to Chiron in Aries, both planets are also connected to Venus in Sagittarius. A woman who deals in foreign policy, or higher education is in the news, and creating quite a stir. There is something painful that we need to heal. Venus and Chiron are joining hands to help initiate the healing. In your own life you are looking at something bigger than yourself, making some sort of sacrifice, in order to let the healing begin. With the Moon also joining in Sagittarius with Venus it is likely to be an emotionally charged day.

December 19th - the last new moon of the year is in the sign of Sagittarius, and it looks like it is going to be a wild one. Both the Sun and Moon are inconjunct to Uranus in Taurus, all at 28 degrees. This is a new beginning that comes in an unusual and unexpected way. Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter and it is still exactly square to Chiron, and both are retrograde. This is some lesson from the past we need to learn from, some pain that needs to be healed. Fate plays its hand of course as Mercury out of shadow and at 10 degrees of Sagittarius is squaring both the North and South Node. What we learn today takes us in a new direction. It could be something we learn about a religious leader and an event from their past that shocks the world. In your own life you need to be open to learning the truth and making the right choice as a result. More to come in the full write up here.

December 20th - adding to the craziness today is Venus in a square to Saturn. Karma that is inflicted on a woman or women in general, that restrains them in some way. We also see the Sun in Sagittarius at the critical 29th degree, still inconjunct with Uranus. This lesson is a major one and will continue to shock and surprise us.

December 21st - it is the Winter Solstice, the shortest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere. The Sun has entered the sign of Capricorn and Winter has officially begun. It is time to let 'die' what no longer serves us. What we let die allows us to be reborn in the Spring. Before anything new begins though this pain has to be released. Chiron is at the top of a tsquare, or what I call a mountain of pressure, between the Moon in Capricorn and Jupiter in Cancer. All are at 22 degrees, which gives us hope that something can be rebuilt after all of this tension and pain.

December 22nd - it is now Venus's turn to meet up with Uranus at that awkward angle, but this feels different because Venus is the ruler of Taurus. There might be some strange money moves happening today. This is not the time to go crazy on last minute holiday shopping either. In fact, you could end up making a major purchase you end up regretting. Like I said previously get all that shopping done as early as possible.

December 23rd - Venus at that critical 29th degree, is now squaring to Neptune, also at the 29th degree of Pisces where it has been testing our faith for what feels like forever now. There are some who will try to delude you into thinking things are fine, they are not. Whatever the tension, it is time for a significant change. Mercury will be the last planet to square off with Saturn and Neptune in Pisces, that will be the last checkpoint before the change will begin, like it or not.

December 24th - Merry Christmas Eve - by the time you are gathering with friends and family the Moon will be in the emotional sign of Pisces, while Venus is in the grounded sign of Capricorn. The Moon will also speak in harmony with the Sun as it progresses through the day. There is something that grounds us and helps us feel more like we used to before all the stress and drama. It is time to express our love again.

December 25th - Merry Christmas! Emotional events that happen today open a pathway of healing. The Moon in Pisces speaks with the North Node while of course opposing the South in Virgo. Tune in to your feelings, emotions and intuition, they are guiding you forward. They are showing you what you need to release from the past in order to step into your path of faith and healing. I wish you all a beautiful loving holiday, no matter what you celebrate.

December 26th - Happy Kwanzaa, Happy Boxing Day - happy cleaning up from all the holiday extravaganza. There may be messages and words of healing that come from unusual sources. Mercury in Sagittarius is speaking in harmony with Chiron in Aries, while it makes an odd angle back to Jupiter in Cancer. Jupiter as the ruler of Sagittarius has advice to give, advice that if you take it, you will be healed. I recommend you take it, or you be the one to give the olive branch to someone to mend the rift.

December 29th - opportunity presents itself today in the form of a brief grand earth trine. The Moon in Taurus meets with the South Node in Virgo and the Sun and Mars in Capricorn. Whatever shows up today, do it, take action. This is financial in nature, so could be a new job, a bonus, a new business idea. Whatever the opportunity say yes. With Mars at 11 degrees and in positive aspect to the North and South Node it is time to finally take action and get on your path. It is time for a big change. Mercury is now squaring Saturn, this is a karmic change in direction. Hopefully financial relief on a large scale.

December 31st - Happy New Year's Eve - Congratulations you have made it through the end of a very tumultuous year. 9 years are tough, I personally had to let go of my dog of 14 years and I thought it would end me. He was so much a part of my everyday life. But as in all things we have to let go of, we just take one day at a time, until a new normal can take shape. As we end this year, we see the Sun shining a light on our future as it and Venus are both speaking in harmony with those nodes of fate and destiny. These two very bright stars are combining to be a beacon of hope and new opportunity. As Venus passes the Sun she is cleansed and reborn. A new era is about to begin. I don't know about you, but I sure am ready!

January Preview - Happy New Year!! Let's hope so! It's a 1 year where we can begin new things and get excited about new opportunities. The energy on this day can set the tone for the entire year. With Venus speaking exactly with the North and South Node, both in positive aspects, there is hope for something better. Also something very different, as the Moon will be squaring the Nodes at the same time. The way we feel about information is going to change this year. There could be some strange unexpected leadership changes too. The Full Moon in Cancer at the beginning of the month gives us closure on 2025.
